new solos & Xmas SC

Hikaru and Yabu performed two new solos last Sunday: Gentles (?) and Arashi no Carnival. Hikaru gets a funky song and Yabu gets... a little dangerous at the end of his solo. LOL Still it's better than the crotch touching thing. XD It would be awesome if Shoon and Taiyô got to perform two new solos themselves next time, but from Kindai's pic it seems we'll have another performance of Te wo tsunaide yukô. Not that I mind, really. I love that song and I want to see if Shoon and Yabu will or will not hold hands in the same way they did on Shônen Club. Yes, it was quite a peculiar way of holding hands, different from the way Yabu held hands with Hikaru, and from the way Hikaru held hands with Taiyô. Oh, well, then again perhaps it was just something random, or perhaps it's me and my Yamabu obsession. XDDD Anyway, I'll shut up and let you watch the livestage.
·
·
And I also wanted to comment a little on the Christmas SC special. It was mostly old SC performances, so I cut those out and tried to leave in the main Ya3 bits, which include a silly but cute opening with all the juniors, Ya3 reading some fan postcards, Hikaru in the Junior ni Q special (I LOVE his current haircut), and the ending, which was silly but cute too. XD By the way, for the Yamabu fans out there... notice how Shoon (or rather his voice) woots when Yabu is reading a postcard in which the fan's nicknam is "Yabu's big fan". ^^B Ne, was that you who wrote the card, Shoon? =p

call for help

I don't know if you know the Shoon daily LJ community I co-mod, Shoon around-the-clock, has an extension called The Beauty of That? The idea was to have an online "video library" with as many clips as possible of Shoon's SC performances, Ya3 show performances, his scenes from Satomi Hakkenden, Ya3 show clips... but it's so ambitious that I've realized I need help because I already have too much on my plate as it is with my personal blog, this blog, co-modding the S. a-t-c. community, maintaining the community's album... and last but not least, my real life obligations. I have a Michelangelo streak in me, a tendency to take up too many things at once, and I really have to do something about it 'cause I'm not a supergirl and it's taking its toll on me. ^^U

So the thing is I need some volunteer/s to help me maintain "The Beauty of That". What would you have to do? Upload clips to the community's [Dailymotion account], post them on the blog, and if you know a little html update the nav bar links. Of course you'd be credited on the blog. ^___^ Any kind soul wants to help?

crappy wallpaper

I'm so obsessed with Shoon's latest pic from Kindai that it's getting ridiculous. XD Not only did I make an icon out of it, used it for the header, and replaced the one on the header of the b-day blog with it. Now I've also used it to make a new header for the layout of the Shoon daily community I co-mod with Akgla...:
·
·
...and I made a wallpaper too. ^^U I was trying to imitate Fahlyu, but totally failed and the result looked crappy, so I ended up making it simple. The text on the right is the same bad poem I wrote for [the layout] I used for Shoon's produced SC. XD
·
·
Anyway, in case somebody wants to use it...

answering comments

Before I get started with the comments I wanted to wish a Merry Xmas to all those of you who read this blog, both those who leave comments, and those who don't. =) Here in Spain Christmas lasts till January 6th, and it's on that day when we traditionally exchange presents since that's the day when the Three Wise Men brought their presents to child Jesus. ^^
·
Alei:
That's okay, you can use any of my dailymotion videos on your Xanga. =) Also, I'm very happy you liked the b-day blog we made for the countdown to Shoon's 18th b-day. ^__^ We had lots of fun doing it and hope that all the fans had fun as well. And yes, wouldn't it be amazing if one day he googled his name and found it. ^___^ I really would like him to know how many fans he has outside Japan.
·
Airi:
aw hon i'm sorry i didn't mean to make you feel bad about it! :( i was just joking about getting angry~ ^^; ne, let's get to know each other, okay? XD
Hey, that's okay. =) It was me who was worried I had offended you. ^^ And yes, I'd like to get to know you better. ^__^ Thanks so much for reading this blog, and also for taking part on the icon contest! =)
·
Lily:
Did you manage to find somewhere online the mp3s of Te wo tsunaide, the MS medley and the Xmas medley? When you left me the comment I was really busy with the countdown and work, but if you haven't found them I'll rip them for you. =)
·
Yui:
How's your Yamabu fic going? ;-) The beginning was quite promising. Ganbatte! i found out that chibi hika sounded like akasaka akira from hikaru genji!! XDD serious, if you have the time try listen to hikaru genji's STARLIGHT @ 3:12. XD Really? LOL I'll have to search for that song and listen to it, ha, ha.
Regarding that rumour about Shoon... yeah, it was plain stupid. That's why I didn't bother to make a post about it. I think people who set off rumours are always nasty, but when they're trying to hurt somebody who is as kind-hearted as Shoon is it's just despicable. >_<#
·
Dylis: I'm very happy you like my blog. ^___^ Thanks for reading and commenting! i had no idea that Shoon has a brother. But still shoon is hotter. Well, give Reon some time to grow up and we'll see if he doesn't follow his brother's footsteps. ;-)·
Alice:
Yes, it seems it was Hikaru who was going too fast in Seishun Amigo when he performed it with Shoon. I think it was Fahlyu who mentioned it always happens that he forgets the thumb thing. LOL* Oh, and don't worry about expressing your opinions. I'm a huge Yamada fan, but it's just what you think, and I can respect that. =) Thank you so much, that's very sweet of you! ^___^
·
神ちゃん:
Ah, yes, Shoon sure had a lot to read on his b-day from the fans. =) I guess it would be better if he didn't google his name at all because he might find some things that would hurt him -like that stupid rumour of some days ago-, but somehow I wish somebody would tell him about the good things, like how many fans he has outside Japan and that we had a countdown for his 18th b-day too. ^^ Also... I'm glad you enjoyed the entry I wrote for the 20th. ^___^ Well, yes, it was addressed to Shoon, but since I knew it was unlikely he'd read it I wanted to share it with people like you and the other fans whom I knew share those feelings I poured in my b-day post. =)
·
Geri:
I read the entry you wrote on your LJ for Shoon's b-day and liked it a lot. Actually these last days have been hectic for me, but I'd like to add entries (or at least links) on the b-day blog with the entries fans posted on their own blogs/LJs. =) Would you give me your permission to add yours? I don't know, it's unlikely, but wouldn't it be nice if one day Shoon came accross the b-day blog and saw how many people had been thinking of him on that day? ^^ As always thanks for visiting. ;-)
·
Allyson:
but I don't love Yabu because of his 'Tarzan's haughtiness'! XD (the whole Tarzan-Yabu and Jane-fangirls got me rolling on the floor)
Don't lie! You so do! XDDDDD No, seriously, there are many things I love about Yabu other than his Tarzan's haughtiness. I really, really want to write a long entry on him, but since his b-day is not far ahead I'll wait till then. ;-)
I can see why you were so torn about the Sgt Pepper outfit, most of it are from your fondest memories of Shoon, ne^^.
Ah, yes, yes. ;__; I LOVE that outfit dearly and at the same time I'll forever hate it because they made him wear it to sing his solo on his own produced SC. Is that even possible? LOL
Thanks Irea for all your effort in bringing us good stuffs for his birthday and all that you did so far to help us fans know Ya-Ya-yah better ^^v
That was really sweet, thank you. ^^BBB Akgla and I are really happy that people enjoyed the countdown. We had lots of fun doing it. =)
·
Anonymous:
thx a lot for making Shoon fan video!! i watched it and that's make me even luv him more!!
Yay! ^__^ I'm very glad you liked it so much! =) ...which reminds me I still have to post it here. ^^
·
j0j0:
I'm glad you enjoy reading my blog entries. ^___^ I guess it's easy to write about the things you really like, ne?
when i first saw yayayah (which is just last week lol), the only one i noticed was yabu.. n yabu was also the first search i made of yayayah but than my interest in him settled n it turned to taiyo~
Welcome to the fandom then! =) And yes, Yabu does stand out, doesn't him? ;-) But then Taiyô is a really nice guy too. ^__^ He's getting handsomer and is no longer so much the baka of the group. =)
·
Anonymous:
which video was it that taiyo sang osaka obacchan rock? can you tell me please :DD
It's the show from 2006.11.26. =)
·
NEWShFAN:
That picture is gorgeous.....now if some nice person could just make it into a wallpaper so that I can look at Shoonie everyday...pretty please??!
Fahlyu has agreed to make a wallpaper of it and will post it Shoon daily LJ comm. ^___^ Are you a member of the community? If you aren't I can send it to you by e-mail. =)
·
Mei:
Shoon is very cute like a girl, but look masculine in the same time
Yes, he's like the perfect balance between yin and yang (femenine and masculine). =) The first time my younger brother saw him he thought he was a very cute girl! LOL
Aw, I'm sorry you failed biology. =( Good luck with the rest of your tests. Ganbatte!
·

i'm a fan of ur blog. i'm setting ur page as my starting page of my Firefox XD
Wow, you've set my blog as your start page? ^___^ That's really flattering, thank you. I'm very happy you like it so much. =)
but where r u now? u haven't update ur blog for quite a long time (it's not really that long but i juz Miss u and every Shoon's stuff u write)
Aaaawwww... that was so sweet!! ^^BBB I'd like to update the blog everyday, but unfortunately of late I've been busy with work. I work as a translator and today I had to hand in a translation. I'll try and update more often. Thanks for visiting and commenting! ^^BBB
·
Yuantim:
I have a question from that same magazine kindai... In the front cover pic of that magazine...does Yabu-kun have an earring??? on his left ear?
That's exactly what I thought when I saw the pics at Fiona's site, but in the large size scans you see it's not an earring, but just a white spot from the background of the photo. I do wonder though if Hikaru for instance will wear one soon, seeing that they've dyed Yabu's hair. That seems to be the trend with johnnys, ne? When they get older they have their hair dyed light brown or auburn, and some start wearing earrings. I can't picture Yabu or Shoon wearing earrings, Taiyô is still too young, but I can totally imagine Hikaru with one or too. It would look nice on him too, I think. =)
Anyway, in case you want to see the large scans of those pics you mention plus Shoon's page(credits to LJH forums)... (not Yabucchi's best pics really ^^U) Click on the pics to see the full size scans.

Thanks to lav_blue and fatalblue for your comments too. ^___^

a work of art

[EDIT]: Even though the countdown to Shoon's b-day already came to its end, there will be new entries with anything you want us to post there for all Shoon fans to see (b-day banners you made, poems to Shoon or whatever). Also... please don't forget to vote on the fic poll!!
·
Dear Mr. photographer of Kindai magazine,
·
thanks for the best picture ever of Shoon. Of all the Christmas presents a fan could get this was the best. Nobody before you had managed to capture that look in those soulful eyes. If it were a painted portrait I'd compare you to Leonardo or Velázquez.

Happy b-day, Shoon!

It's past midnight already in Tokyo, so... happy birthday, Shoon! ^___^
----------------------------------------------------------
Puppet dear, you turn 18 today and it's almost been a year since we first "met". It was in the most unlikely of all places, a blog that had nothing to do with Japan, nor with JE, and much less with Ya-Ya-yah. But there you were, in a YouTube video clip, performing Start along with Taiyô, Hikaru, and Yabu in the TV Tokyo studios where you’ve been doing your TV show for four years now.
·
Of course I had no idea the four of you had a TV show, I had no idea who you were, and I knew nothing about Johnny’s Entertainment. I hadn’t even heard of it.
·
All I had was what didn’t even sound like a band name, Ya-Ya-yah, but with that I set off in the search of... Yabu. ^^ Yes, I know you must be shocked to read that. Yabu?, not you? Yes, I admit it: it was Yabu who caught my eye at first. Well, he’s the one who stands out more because being the leader he’s the one who gets to sing more and the one who gets more camera time. Also... don’t get jealous, but he seemed quite good looking to me and then there’s this boyish magnetism he has. Perhaps there’s a little haughtiness in his attitude, but we girls are silly creatures that often feel attracted to that kind of primitive male appeal. You know, the “me, Tarzan; you, Jane” thing. XD I suppose it’s in our genes.
·
The second time I saw you I didn’t take much notice of you either. *whacks herself on the head* It was a Shônen Club performance you did in 2005; a medley of songs by The Jackson Five. It was Yabu again that stole all my attention. Can I be blamed? His singing and dancing were so amazing for his age! Hikaru and him were wearing those curious outfits that reminded me of The Beatles’ Sergeant Pepper outfits. You and Taiyô wore outfits along that line, but they were slightly different; not cool, but a bit... clownish. Hey, don’t glare at me like that!, it’s the first adjective that comes to mind. What with those striped sleeves, the tailed coat, and the loose trousers... ^^U
·
Okay, so perhaps I thought you looked clownish for half a second, but then, watching you dance, you reminded me of a puppet. Your moves were smooth and elegant, and your feet didn’t quite seem to touch the stage, as if your legs were being pulled by strings from someone above. You yourself reminded me of a puppet as well... or more exactly of a drawing of a puppet from a book I read when I was a child. His hair was jet black and messy, like yours used to be back then —I miss your messy, wild hair! ^o^ —, and he was dressed like a harlequin, with a jacket of striped sleeves similar to the one you were wearing.
·
I remember I thought you were kind of cute, but that was it. The first time I actually took notice ofTop Secret. You were wearing the same outfit, but you had some fake white and violet strands on your hair, attached here and there. My impressions of you then were that you were a strange, but cool kid with a beautiful, elfish face that danced really well, and once again I was strongly reminded of a puppet as I watched your performance.
you was when I came across your first solo performance,
·
From that moment on, for me Yabu stepped into the background —I still like him, but not quite as much as I like you [sorry, Yabucchi ^^]. I started watching old and recent episodes from your TV show and Shônen Club, and gradually I grew more and more intrigued by you. You are like the yin-yang personified, the head and tails of a coin. Sometimes you’re endearingly childish, talkative, bubbly; others you are quiet, seemingly melancholic... a little distrusting even.
·
You can break a wooden board with your fist, cross the length of a red carpet on water, do amazing backflips... but there’s a delicate and jumpy Shoon too, like you were the time Hikaru broke that plate on the slow motion segment of your show, like that time you went to see a tiger at the zoo with Koyama and Hikaru, or that other time when you were visiting the trousers factory and the pebbles cascaded “dangerously” from the stone-washing machine. LOL
·
I like both sides of you just as much because they complement each other; because they make you the unique, fascinating, complex person you are; because those contradictions were what made me fall in love with you.
·
But there also those things in you that don’t change whether you’re having a good or a bad day, whether you’re feeling restless or tired. You’re always honest, always respectful, always careful not to hurt others feelings... and for that I love you even more.
·
The calendar dates my love to you back to just 11 months, but it’s actually been 4 years that I’ve been in love with you. Do you know that cheesy song that goes “I knew I loved you before I met you”? Well, I wouldn’t go as far as claiming that because I’m not a clairvoyant, but I love the Shoon you were in 2003, when the Ya-Ya-yah TV show started, the Shoon you were in 2004, 2005, and the Shoon you’ve been along this year that is coming to its end.
·
If I were a clairvoyant I’d look into my crystal ball and tell you what I see in your future, but I don’t believe in such things, and as I said I’m not a clairvoyant anyway. The only certain thing about the future is that it’s completely uncertain, but you have two weapons that will surely help you to overcome whatever difficulties you may find in your way: one is your good heart; the other your strong will. Count always on them.
·
I hope you’ll have a wonderful birthday, and in this year of your life that begins I wish you above all else good health and much love from your family, friends, and perhaps from that special someone we all dream of meeting. Those are the most important things to have. Money and fame won’t make you happy and happiness is something fleeting, but if you have love and good health you’ll be the richest, most fortunate person in the world. ^___^
·
PS: Make sure you don't miss tomorrow's surprise at the countdown b-day blog!! ;-)

last Sunday's livestage

[EDIT 2]: The icons submitted to the icon contest are up at the countdown b-day blog now and so is the poll so you can cast your vote. ^__^ Thanks to the people who entered the contest and good luck! You'll find both the icons and the poll on the navigation bar on the left.
·
On another note... to Tegoshi and/or Yamada fans: please don't get angry at me for what I said about them on the previous entry. <=( It's just my opinion (a subjective impression) and it was not my intention to insult them or their fans. As I said I don't dislike Tegoshi -in fact I think he seems a nice guy and smart too because he knows how to get along with everybody-, nor do I have any reason to dislike Yamada -he seems a nice kid too. [To Airi: thanks for not taking to heart what I wrote. =) It shows you're a mature person]
·
I'm in the process of uploading the whole show, so in the meantime... Here's the livestage. =) Yabu and Taiyô sang a bit of Daite Señorita, then Hikaru and Shoon sang a bit of Seishun Amigo, and finally all together sang a bit of Itoshii no Playgirl. Taiyô was absolutely BRILLIANT and I take back what I said some time ago about he's singing not being too good. He sounds really nice. =)
·
Shoon and Hikaru did well too... though they were not completely coordinated in the dancing. Either Shoon was too fast with the steps or Hikaru was too slow. ^^ The first seems unlikely because Shoon's dancing is normally quite laid back (as opposed to Yabu, for instance), but then Hikaru has performed Seishun Amigo several times before, so he probably knows the choreography by heart now. Anyway... enjoy!
·
·
On another note... Are you following our countdown to Shoon's 18th b-day? Only 6 days now!! ^___^ Also... today is the last day to submit your icon for the icon contest!!

Sunday's SC & uploads

I know I'm late but I've been (and am) busy with the countdown to Shoon's 18th b-day and work, and I really wanted to comment on last Sunday's SC because it has been my favourite of this year together with the one in which Shoon sang Get Down. That should have been his SC. There was so much more Shoon in that one than on his own SC. ^^
·
Anyway... In this one the producers were Yabu and Hikaru, but you might have thought it was produced by all Ya-Ya-yah because they had so many performances and Taiyô even appeared in the Junior ni Q section (Questions to the juniors) ^___^ ... as did Shoon with his younger brother, Reon! =D It made me so happy to see them together AT LAST! Japanese fans -and Kami-chan, who's really lucky- had already seen them together in last Summer's concert and also in the You-tachi Undoukai event, but the rest of us hadn't.
·
What can I say? It was short but we got to see Reon looking at his oniichan (older brother) in adoration...
·
·
...Shoon looking at his otôto (younger brother) with big brother's pride and tenderness...
·
·
And I came to the conclusion that adorableness runs in the Yamashita family. Yup, must be in their genes. XD And just like that you have to love Reon. Just because he's Shoon's brother. And because he's so cute! And so shy! Shyness must run in the family as well. ^__^ And also because he's so tall at 14! He might well be the next Taiyô. And he has that low voice that you wouldn't expect at all because he looks so young! =) Well, he looks his age.
·
Personally I think he pwns Yamada big time. Reon's smile is innocent and genuine, and for some reason Yamada reminds me of Tegoshi (similar round face, similar sugary smile). Not that I dislike Tegoshi, but... I don't know, he makes me think of those kids that know adults adore them and they act cute and goody-two-shoes-like to have them adore them even more. Oh, well, I'll better leave it at that. I don't want anybody to get angry at me. ^^
·
It's just that I wish JE would pimp Reon at least half as much as they pimp Yamada, but it seems to run in the family too that the Yamashitas have to work twice as hard to get somewhere. It's what Shoon has been going through for four years, and now it's happening to Reon. I mean, Yamada seemingly came out of nowhere, just like Morimoto's brother and they're producing next SC? O__o??? (not to mention that Yamada produced his own SC not long ago).
·
To some extent I understand Yamada producing because at least he sings and dances, but Morimoto's little brother??? Why? Because he's cute? (plus I don't think he's that cute ^^) Why then can't we have a Shoon-Reon produced SC? That would be 10 times cuter I tell you. =p
·
Okay, enough about Reon. The other reason why I liked this SC so much was Ya-Ya-yah's new song, Te wo tsunaide yukô. ^________^ Sooooooooooooo beautiful! I'm always debating between liking Hikaru's or Yabu's voice better, but Yabu totally steals this song. =)
·
Also, it's the first time that I like a Ya-Ya-yah song for itself, not because it's a Ya-Ya-yah song. What I mean is that, let's be honest, most JE songs are bad. I like them because I'm weird like that and I love how Japanese sounds, but when I read on Kami's blog that Ya-Ya-yah had been quoted as saying they wanted to be the Japanese Beatles I thought: "jeez, then you better give them decent songs, Kitagawa". Now, Te wo tsunaide yukô is -at least in my opinion- a GREAT song. Also, for a change they didn't have to dance all the time, and thus we got to hear their best singing and to enjoy just looking at them.
·
For the first time I noticed how pretty Yabu's eyes are, even though they are small, I loved watching Taiyô really enjoy the performance -this guy is getting more and more confident on the stage by the day (perhaps because he's getting some attention at last?) ^___^-, I found myself analyzing Hikaru's hairdo LOL... and I fell all over in love with Shoon once again. *^^* The cameraman is to blame. =p Almost at the end of the performance there's a close-up of him, and he looks at the camera and somehow his eyes twinkle slightly and his whole expression softens and it makes you melt. *__* I haven't recovered yet. XD
·
·
Oh, yeah... forgot about Shoon and Reon's bit on Junior ni Q. ^^ Watch it:
·
·
We also had the same medley all the juniors performed on Music Station. Look how happy Taiyô and Shoon seem. =)
·
[SORRY, DAILYMOTION DELETED THIS VIDEO :( ]

·
Hikaru and Yabu did a nice rendition of Kizuna with Nakamaru... though it seemed to me they were holding their voices not to outshine Nakamaru:
·
[SORRY, DAILYMOTION DELETED THIS VIDEO :( ]
·
And then there was a lovely Xmas medley:
·
·
I also updated the treasure box with these clips: from SC 2006.12.10: Te wo tsunaide yukô [81 MB], Shoon&Reon in Junior ni Q [13 MB], MS medley [98 MB], Xmas medley [76 MB], Kizuna [35 MB] ; 2002.10.05 Sekai... [83 MB], 2005.02.20 Midnight Train medley [118 MB] Thanks a lot to Yungboy for helping me uploading some of these. =)

contest reminder & comments

To begin with... a little reminder to you all that the day after tomorrow is the deadline for submitting your icon for Shoon's 18th b-day icon contest. ^^ You don't have to make the best icon in the world. It's just for fun. =) Haven't read the rules? Do it here.
·
And now the answers to the comments you've left on the previous entries. =)
·
Yui: I hope you continued your Yamabu fic and that you'll submit it to our fic contest. ;-)
·
Kyaaa!!!: I suppose that's not a nickname, but you didn't write one, so... ^^ I'm really happy you liked my little Yamabu fanclip. ^___^ Aren't they the cutest thing on earth? XD
·
Alei: Yeah, that Yamabu handholding moment reminded me of my fic too! XD Sometimes I wonder what Shoon and Yabu would think if they read it. ^^
·
Yasmin: Yep, Shoon and Yabu are so cute together that there are times I wish they liked each other for real. They'd make a great couple. LOL
·
Hideko: how is it possible to get the passwords for the [LNE] labeled files which are at ktroom clubbox(bobbi)? Well, so far it has been Fiona (the webmistress of the Chinese web Happy Town) who has provided the passwords.
·
Boku to kimi wa itsumo...: A book called "120% Ya-ya-yah"? I'd buy it, but my Japanese is not too good. ^^ I'm very happy to hear you liked Bokura no Secret. ^___^
·
·
Anonymous: Where do you get these photos of Ya-ya-yah before they where Juniors? Here and there, from different sites and blogs. ^^ I suppose they're scans from old magazines, but don't know which ones.
·
Allyson: Glad you liked Hikaru's b-day banner -wait to see Shoonie's ;-) One of these days I'll make a showcase section with all the banners I've been making. =)

December 10, 2006

countdown to Shoon's b-day

First things first: I updated the treasure box with the latest Ya3 show (2006.12.03), Shoon's second scene in Satomi Hakkenden, a smaller version of 2006.11.19, and a HQ version of the studio performance from 2006.11.26. =) I'll try and answer everybody's comments later.
·
And now to the important part of this entry. ^___^ Turning 18 is something big in anybody's life, so Akgla and I, mods of Shoon daily LJ community, Shoon around-the-Clock, decided we had to do something BIG for Shoon's 18th birthday.
·
And what we're doing is a 10-day countdown during which we'll give the fans 10 Shoon-related surprises. ;-) We want everybody to join in Shoon's coming b-day celebrations, so instead of holding the countdown at the community, we're doing it at a countdown b-day blog.
·
Right-click on the banner below to check it (and make sure you bookmark it as we'll be releasing one surprise per day till Shoon's b-day on Dec. 20th ;-) ).
·
·
We also want to take the chance to remind you that we're holding 2 contests in celebration of Shoon's coming b-day: an icon contest and a fic contest. You can read the rules clicking on the banners on the nav bar on the right. You don't even have to be great at icon-making or at writing to enter the contests. Do it for fun. =)

December 01, 2006

happy b-day, Hikaru!!

[EDIT]: As some of you have asked for the pics on Hikaryu's b-day layout... here you are. =)
·
Here in Spain it's still 1st December, Friday, almost 5 pm now, but in Japan it's past midnight, so over there it's 2nd December already and Hikaru's turned 16! ^___^
·
Kami seems to be missing in action, and I suspect she's preparing something big for the occasion since Hikaru is the apple of her eyes as Shoon is mine ;-) ...so watch Ya3 Genshiro today. I'm sure she has some surprises in store for us. =)
·
Surely she'll write a much better and moving entry on Hikaru than I ever could in a thousand years, so I won't even try. I'll just say that I think Hikaru's a great guy, with a great voice, a great smile, a great personality, and... to top it all, a great confidence in himself, which is the key to success. ^___^
·
Of the four members that make up Ya-Ya-yah, he's the one I'd never worry about. Yabu has some insecurities and seems to take things too much to heart, Shoon is too sensitive, and Taiyô is too good for his own good, but Hikaru is the kind of guy with whom things are just fine. The world is his playground and he seems to enjoy what life brings to him while others fret over things beyond their control. That's the way we should all be. Shine on, Hikaru-kun. =)

Sunday's show & Yamabu clip

[EDIT]: Darn, I knew I was forgetting something. ^^ I was reading the latest entry on Kami's blog and realized I'd forgotten to comment on something: Shoon's line on Real Face. I swear I replayed it at least five times because I couldn't believe it was his voice. O__O Wow, so low. I've said before that Shoon is not the best voice in Ya-Ya-yah, but I have a soft spot for him and I like his voice a lot. It's funny how being older than Yabu his voice sounds much more teenager like. Sometimes it even sounds a little squeaky when he's surprised, which is so adorable. ^^BBB It was when he sang Get Down on SC for the first time that I was amazed at what a deep voice he can make. (It's when he says "get down", right before he starts singing. It turns me into a puddle every time I watch it. XD Such a commanding tone! LOL) Well, he managed to make an even deeper voice on Real Face, and his pronountiation is quite good too. I have a feeling he might actually be good at English, because he seems the type of person who doesn't like boasting about his skills, and damn, the way he says "bad" in BadxNice is really good for a Japanese person. I mean Japanese has only five vowels and they are "pure vowels", as in Spanish, while English has 12. The "a" in "bad" is pronounced /æ/: , and that's how Shoon pronounces it. I tell you that's not easy for someone whose mother tongue has only 5 vowels. Um, yeah, okay, I hear you all snoring. Enough about phonetics. XD
·
I've updated the treasure box with links for last Sunday's show, the previous one (2006.12.19), and I also reuploaded the H.Q. show from 2005.09.04 because the link had expired. =) By the way, I've revamped the whole downloads page. I've merged the HQ files with the rest, only they're highlighted in gold.
·
It was really hard for me to get some of those files, so that's why I expressly asked people not to post them elsewhere, but I've found them recently at different clubboxes and other places, so it's useless having a separate box for them on the download page. =/
·
Also, now you can download directly the latest uploads at the top of the page, where it says "latest updates". Hope you'll find that helpful. =)
·
Anyway, last Sunday's live stage was really great. They sang the same medley all the juniors sang on their last appearance at Music Station. I don't know if it's me having a dèjá vu but I think Ya-Ya-yah have worn those yellow outfits sometime before, haven't they? And it looks great on Shoon, doesn't it? Well, there's few clothes that don't look great on him. XD
·
They're letting Taiyô do more on the performances lately, and he's definitely proving that he's not at all behind his groupmates. =) Having him sing Obaachan Rock and Shoon Good Day was a good idea because, Taiyô being younger, it Kanjani8's song suited him better, and V6's song suited Shoon because... well, I have no idea why it suited him, but I like that song and I'm happy he sang it. XD
·
I think it's interesting that they all sang Fever & Future together instead of just Inoo and Hikaru. Hmmm... Ya3 possible debut 1, Kitty possible debut 0. LOL
·
·
On another note... Did you spot this lovely ShoonxYabu moment on the latest Teppan? XD The music is from an anime series called Mentantei Conan (Detective Conan), and it's called Secret of my Heart *wink-wink, nudge-nudge*.
·
·
It's funny that I uploaded that clip to YouTube too and it received an honor. O__o??? Either people enjoy seing two guys holding hands, or ShoonxYabu's OTPness is evident even to those who don't know Ya-Ya-yah. XDDDD Somebody asked me if I think they are gay. I said this here before and I'll say it again: NO, I don't think they're gay, but if they were I think there would be nothing wrong with that. We're in the 21st century, not in the Middle Ages, right? ;-) If I post ShoonxYabu clips and fics it's just for fun and fangirling and also because they're cute together. ^__^

Boku to kimi wa itsumo SAMBA:
Now, that's what I call an original (and long) nickname! Where did you hear that story about Yamapi and Hoshino going together to a ramen store? I don't know if it's true, but yeah, it would be understandable if Hoshino didn't want to appear in Stand by Me because he dind't want to play a 13-14 year-old kid. However Shoon was only a year younger than him.
Actually I don't feel bad for Hoshino leaving the jimushô -I think he didn't fit in because he was too shy. I feel bad about the way JE treated him and Akama Naoya, and I feel bad for Shoon because he seemed to be close to him, and it seems to me that he suffered when he left.
Yui:
Must be the fanatic Shoon fan in me, but yes, I can't understand either the lack of Shoon uchiwas not just on the SC he produced but on any SC in general. A Japanese girl told me he's most popular among women in their 30s (because he's so mature and all), so perhaps they feel too guilty to take Shoon uchiwas with them because he's still underage not for long though? XD
Hanna:
There are few JE songs that I really like, but somehow BadxNice has grown on me. Shoon is to be blamed for it. XD
Ved:
I couldn't pick out Reon. None of the 6 juniors they showed at that part of the dance off looks like Reon!? Right-click [here] and [here]. Those screencaps are from Reonade , the brother-site of Moonlightboy.com. I love trying to pick out Reon on every studio and SC performance. LOL It's like those "where's Wally?" books. XDDDD
Did Yabu sign "Kota"? Actually his signature says Kota Yabu, though it's kind of hard to read. That little arrow thing is part of the "Ya", and the "bu" syllable is below.
Phoebe:
Yes, Media Fire seems to be the solution to our problems. =) It works for people who cannot download from MU and the links don't expire (at least for now because this is a new host service - we'll see if that policy continues in a few months). And yes, it looks like they changed a bit the choreography of Itoshi no Play Girl. I liked it better as it was before.
Yuri:
Hikaru's attempts at sexy-ness amuse me too. XD I also find it funny that a lot of people are memorizing the dance steps. LOL Do you dance along at home when you rewatch the performances? I have two left feet, so I don't even try. XD
Hideko:
If you downloaded the 2006.11.19 show from ktroom clubbox(bobbi), the password is "kei".
Naomi:
im new here n i dunno how to use the treasure box...tell me please... Hi, Naomi! Thanks for visiting. =) If you don't know the username and password send me an e-mail.
Hairband:
I don't want JE to turn Hikaru into the next Jin or Kame either. Nothing against them, really, but I'd like Ya-Ya-yah to become a group similar to Arashi and not KAT-TUN. It fits their style better.

Last Sunday's livestage

[EDIT]: I updated the treasure box with the links for the 3 parts of last Sunday's show. =)
·
To "anonymous": when it is played on WM Player it says codec not found or something like that... Try and download the latest version of Windows Media Player. If it doesn't work, you can try and use this player. It plays virtually any file type.
·
Some people asked for the pics I used on the latest headers for the layout... namely these ones...
·

·
So here you are... [click here]
·
Also... To the person who can't download with MediaFire... What seems to be the problem? Sorry I can't upload it MU or YSI now, as I'm uploading the whole episode. ^^
·
To Hideko: When you click on the treasure box image link a pop-up window appears. Perhaps your browser blocks pop-ups? Please try again. =)
·
I updated the treasure box with this performance, reuploaded HQ episode 2005.08.07, uploaded HQ PF 2005.10.23 (Himawari no Melody), and added links for 2003.04.13 and 2003.04.27. IMPORTANT: I uploaded the performance to a new file hosting server called Media Fire. Please if Megaupload doesn't work for you try to download and tell me if it works. =)
·
It will take me a while to upload the whole episode because it's huge, so in case you want to watch the live stage...
·

November 13, 2006

Puppet dear, you did great

[EDIT 2]: I added YSI download links of these SC clips at the treasure box: opening of the show and Hikaru solo; Shoon talks to MC; Reon; MC talk to Shoon about SC’s theme; BadxNice; To the Freedom; Sekai ga hitotsu ni naru made; closing of the show
·
[EDIT]: Sorry I uploaded a wrong clip as the talk about the show's theme. ^^ It's fixed now.
·
What is exactly the role of a producer in SC? Appearing as little as possible? Honestly I was so disappointed at the lack of Shoon in his own produced SC. =(
·
Ya-Ya-yah made a really energetic entrance at the beginning of the show, and Shoon was adorably humble -and more beautiful than ever- when they introduced him as producer and he talked about the show's theme, but then he just appeared briefly in a little talk with Yûto and Yamada, and then he didn't reappear till his speech at the closing of the shows with Koyama and Nakamaru and his solo, which was followed by a performance of To the Freedom with the rest of Ya-Ya-yah, and Sekai ga hitotsu ni naru made with the other juniors.
·
Oh, well, something I liked about this show was the fact that they introduced the new juniors; Reon among them. ^____^
·
Hikaru got a solo in the "Love" medley that was performed at the beginning of the show, as did the other members of Kitty, except Inoo, who sang together with the rest of JJE. These are the things that make me fear Kitty might debut, so that's why I believe Ya3 need our support and that the weekly postcard campaign is necessary. ^^ Thanks to everybody who is already taking part in it! =)
·
Anyway, back on topic... Hikaru's solo was great. ^___^ I love his voice and as I said before his dancing is getting better and better.
·
Back to Shoon, because this was supposed to be his SC... I wanted to strangle whoever made him wear the Sergeant-Pepper-like outfit to sing his solo BadxNice. Does somebody in JE hate him or something?, because that was mean. No, it was really mean. His moment of glory and he has to perform with the oldest, least cool outfit in their wardrobe? I felt so bad for him I was actually crying inside when they started singing Sekai ga hitotsu ni naru made.
·
Okay, so perhaps I'm being overly dramatic because I love Shoon too much, but it was so mean! However you cannot make a rose less beautiful even if you cover it in soot, because beneath the soot it's still a rose. Well, Shoon did a brilliant performance of the solo. His dancing was great, he showed that he is the sexiest junior in JE even when they make him wear totally unsexy clothes, and his singing was better than ever before [and yay he sang the full version! I'm so making an mp3 rip of it. ^___^]
·
It's not that I dislike the Sergeant-Pepper-like outfit; it's the outfit Shoon wore for his Top Secret performance, and I fell in love with him there and then because he reminded me of a puppet with an elfish face, and that's why I use the nickname "Puppeteer8" on LJ, so I could never hate that outfit, but still... It was really unfair.
·
Oh, well, at least they let him talk to his heart's content before the performance. The romantic in me had been hoping they'd have him read out his thoughts sitting on the stage, a single stage light on him, piano music in the background, but no such luck. Still it was nice. It was kind of relaxing to watch and hear him talk -and if somebody translated that part they'd make me the happiest person on Earth, because my Japanese is not that great and I only understood bits and pieces. ^^
·
Random notes:
-Yesterday I was daydreaming about this particular SC, and I was wondering what Shoon would wear. For some reason I thought "I'd love him to wear the white suit they wore for Summerx3" ...and he did! O__O That was a bit uncanny. LOL
·
-I like how happy Taiyô seems of late. =) He was really cute when he gestured to the camera at the end of their entrance. I guess he was feeling happy not just because he's getting to sing more, but also for Shoon. After all they've been together in the shadow (i.e. as little more than backdancers) all this time. Now it's Taiyô's turn to come into the light and shine (pun intended obviously ;-)). Here's hoping for a Taiyô produced SC in December. ^__^
·
-The lack of Shoon uchiwas. T___T If I were Japanese I'd consider Shoon a national treasure. Oh, well, as the saying goes "nobody is a prophet in their own land".
·
PS: I'll edit this entry later with YSI links of the different clips. =)
·
Okay, onto some clips of the show:

We'll start with the show's opening:

Yes, I'll be uploading the rest of Shoon's scenes in Satomi Hakkenden soon, I promise. =)
·
Sa-chan:
Glad you liked the one-shot. ^__^ I have more coming (3 at least). And you're welcome for the downloads. =) Thanks for visiting and commenting. ^^B
·
Yui:
About the poll... I left a comment on Feather's blog (she's a friend of Fiona who's fluent in English) asking her if she could ask Fiona to post a link to the poll on Happy Town as well, but I haven't received a reply from Fiona yet. However I'm gonna try and involve Japanese fans too, and Atarashiiyoake has kindly translated the support entry into Japanese for me. =) I also asked May, who is from Thailand to ask people there to vote and I'm waiting for her answer. ^__^
·
Alice:
about the campaign for Ya-Ya-yah, is there anyway I can do that through e-mail?
Afraid not, sorry. To my knowledge there's no SC e-mail. ^^ If you think a weekly postcard is too much you could always send one monthly till Spring. =) Anything will help.
·
pg:
Thanks for visiting and commenting. =) And yeah that last MS performance was like OMG so many kids on the stage! LOL However it was not as cramped as the former Ya3 studio stage was. LOL
·
Allyson:
*jumps at you for hailing Yabu as a Super Johnny* but I first misread it as Super Junior though ..like SuJu.. LOL
Perhaps "Super Junior" is more accurate. =) But, yeah, I adore Yabu; he has a special place in my fangirl heart. ^^B SuJu sounds cute! LOL
·
Kami:
Um, yeah, it's true Hikaru was in the Ya3 show since early 2003, but I think the decision to put him in Ya-Ya-yah happened along the way, when JE saw that Akama was growing up too quickly and his voice changed too soon. Hikaru was simply at the right place in the right moment. =) If I ever made a Hikaru site it would be called "Born under a lucky Star". And he was so cute and funny! =) (plus he has a great voice too) I think Ya-Ya-yah is better with Hikaru; I just resent the way they gradually left Akama and Hoshino out of the group. It was cruel of JE. Throwing them out right away would have been too shocking.
·
Phoebe:
(about the Pride Summer episode) It was funny. Especially when the guest guy came out of the water looking like the girl in The Ring. XD
LOL And the music they played in the background! It was hilarious. XD
And Shoon was awesome in the carpet-on-water competition. :D
He WAS. ;-) He's like a Jackie Chang among the johnnys. LOL

downloads

[EDIT 4:] to xxyabuxxloverxx - If you can watch the TV shows but not the SC clips I've uploaded probably your player is missing the Divx codec, because the shows are mpeg files, while the SC clips are .avi files (i.e. divx). If you're using Windows Media Player you might want to update the program here first, and then download the divx codec. If it doesn't work, download this player. It plays virtually any file type.
·
[EDIT 3]: to xxyabuxxloverxx - I edited the clip with a different program Please download it and tell me if you can watch it. ^^ If you can't maybe your player is missing some codec? Also... is it just the game clip you can't watch or none of them? To everyone: Does anybody else have problems watching the SC clips I uploaded?
·
[EDIT 2]: I added the YSI download links of Sunday's show at the treasure box and SC's game as xxyabuxxloverxx requested.
·
[EDIT]: I added the MU download link of Sunday's show at the treasure box. YSI later. =)
·
Perhaps later I'll edit clips from last Sunday's show (check back later for the MU download link at the treasure box - I'll upload it to YSI tomorrow ^^), but for today I've prepared something different... =)
·
...because I've reuploaded the high-quality version of the 2005.07.24 episode (requested by Ali) and I've also uploaded a new high quality studio performance, the one from 2005.11.10 (Love You Only+Ai wa nuudo (Taiyô's solo)+Ambitious Japan). ^__^
·
And you may be wondering... "which episode is 2005.07.24?" It's the Pride Summer Grand Prix! *toothy grin* You know, the one in which you drool from beginning to end watching this guy:

Errr... Wait! WRONG PIC! LOL I meant this guy: ^^B [Click on the pic to see the full size screencap, to see more screencaps, and to read the rest of this entry. =)]

last Sunday's SC

Last Sunday's SC was one of my favourites so far, and I'm hoping the next one will be even better as it will be produced by Shoon. =) I'm getting such high expectations that I'll be really disappointed if in the end it's not at least as good as this one. ^^
·
Anyway... the show began with the performance of a Medley that started with Sorafune. Such a cool song! ^__^ And almost everybody sang at least a couple of lines. And the pairings were quite interesting. Question's leader is a really funny guy, isn't he? I love the way he side-strutted to the front with ABC's Kawai. XD Shoon and Taiyô... yay! ^__^ Their voices sounded nice together. Yamada and Yûto... Um... Everyone seems to love Yamada, but he seems too... er... sugary to me. I prefer Yûto; he's more natural. ^^ Goseki and Hikaru... strange pairing. O_o I would have expected Hikaru and Kitayama, for instance.
·
·
Then Ya-Ya-yah performed Good Day, which is such a silly, happy, girlie song... but I adore it! ^3^
·
Then came the performance of Itoshi no Play Girl. Why is it that almost always I like better the Ya3 TV show studio performances than the SC ones? ?__? Anyway... they wore the YouTachi no Undoukai outfits, as they did on MS. =) They're kind of cool, aren't they? Pink... but cool. XD Yabu looks great with that long jacket and Shoon proves he can wear a skirt and still look manly. LOL However... because of the trousers' cuffs -which are quite an original touch too-... he slipped. ¬¬ I tell you, JE outfits are evil and will kill some johnny one of these days: either by dehydration because they make them sweat like hell, or by slipping and breaking their necks. ^^U
·
[LOST VIDEO, SORRY]
·
Aaand we had this funny game in which they had to guess words related to other words... and Yabu pwned them all! XDDDD It was kinda unfair that the game's rules didn't let the other members of the team play until he failed, though. But oh, well, Yabucchi is such a smart guy, isn't he? ^3^
·
After that, Senga being the producer he had some solo dancing and singing, which was really good, so even though this is not a Kisumai fanblog I decided to edit that part. I was more of a Toshiya fan because he's a nice, shy guy, and he seems to be good friends with Shoon, but after reading some translations about Senga being Taiyô-like and watching this SC I'm getting fond of him. Also he has a sweet smile and an unassuming personality. What is it about johnnys that makes you like them even if at first they didn't seem too special? ^^ I think there's no johnny that I really dislike...
·

[LOST VIDEO, SORRY]
·
And the closing song was Thank You, in which everybody got to sing again, which I love. For some reason this song reminds me of some Weiss Kreuz's song (Weiss Kreuz is an anime series).

Super Johnny

So, yesterday Johnny's Juniors performed a special medly on Music Station. =) It was great! Everybody was there (yes, for once they didn't leave Shoon and Taiyô out, yay!), and everybody got to sing a little. For the first time Kitty seems to act truly as a representative of all the junior groups because, interestingly enough, this time Yabu accompanies them when they talk to the hosts. Why is that? Is Yabu going to debut with Kitty? Nah, I don't think so. It looks more like Yabu has become the Super Johnny among the juniors now. ;-) And he totally deserves it for his constant hard work, his enthusiasm, and for aiming so hard at connecting with the public. I still miss his black hair and former hairdo, but I guess his new look is not that bad, and I love the part near the end when he sings a bit of a song by Arashi.
·
Totsu said once he didn't want to debut if it was not with ABC, so he'd probably feel bad if he debuted with Kitty.
·
Hikaru is the heart of Ya-Ya-yah, he makes up for Yabu's shyness (okay, bashfulness if you will), Shoon is relaxed when he's with him, and... well, he's a little mean with Taiyô sometimes, but in a brotherly way. His voice blends amazingly well with Yabu's, and nicely with Shoon's as well. And yes, JE put him in Ya-Ya-yah to replace Hoshino and Akama, but hating him for that is ridiculous. So, no, I don't want him to debut with Kitty, but with Ya-Ya-yah, where he belongs.
·
JJE needs Inoo. He's mature, he's got more experience than the other members, and he's not an overbearing leader, so please, Mr. Kitagawa, let him debut with them.
·
As for Kitayama... um... okay, I don't know much about him or Kisumai 'cause I'm not a big fan of them, but I can't imagine him being taken apart from Kisumai, so no, I don't want him to debut with Kitty either.
·
I don't hate Kitty, but I don't want them to debut because they are a group that came out of the blue for commercial purposes. I like the idea of Kitty as a representative of the different junior groups, but having JE make and break groups as they please is quite hard when you've been supporting a group for some time.

So... how many postcards have you sent already to The Shônen Club? Let's flood them with postcards. ;-) Hikaru, Taiyô, Yabu, and Shoon are worth the effort. =)

Today I decided to sum up my comments on the show with a video made of clips. [No live stage last Sunday, by the way]

MS 2002.05.10 & downloads

[EDIT]: I've reuploaded the Daite Señorita studio performance, uploaded it to YSI as well, and I've replaced the Tokyo Friend Park links, because they had expired (thanks Luma! ^__^) Links on the treasure box. ;-) [Tokyo Friend Park is a TV show in which Shoon appeared with the rest of the Satomi Hakkenden cast and played games]
·
We're barely in November, but the shops and shopping centers over here are already putting Xmas decorations, so why not a Xmasy MS performance for today? This is from 2002.05.10 and it's yet another performance of Sekai ga hitotsu ni naru made. Not the best performance of that song with Yabu singing out of tone, especially at the beginning LOL, but aaah, the cuteness!
·
If you want to download it, you can find it on the treasure box (the YSI download link too), together with (FINALLY) the gourmet special for those who cannot download from MU. =)
·
If you want to watch it as it downloads here you are. Enjoy!

On another note... It has been announced on the Music Station site that the Johnny's Juniors will be performing a Special Medley on 3rd November ^___^ ...speaking of which... I've decided I'm going to upload in the next weeks all of Ya3 MS performances I have. =) We'll start with 2001.02.15, in which Takki, Ya3 (minus Hikaru because he wasn't part of the group yet - well, and for some reason Hoshino wasn't there either ?__?), and some juniors (ABC, Massu, Shige, Tôshin...) perform Sekai ga hitotsu ni naru made (I wish this song had a shorter name - it's so tiring to type all that! XD). Want to watch it? Yabu and Shoon are sooo cute in this clip! ^.^*
·

PS to Fiona: I'm very happy to be of help. ^__^
PS to Yui: I'm not sure how could we get to know how many people are taking part in the Ya3 support postcard campaign... ^^ A poll perhaps? Suggestions are most welcome. =)

October 26, 2006

a one-shot and downloads

First of all, thanks to everyone who are going to support Ya-Ya-yah by sending a weekly postcard, and to those who are spreading the word. ^___^ [To Yui: yes, please, go ahead and post the entry on your blog =)]

Secondly, I'm posting today a Ya-Ya-yah one-shot here. It's not the one-shot I had promised you, but a one-shot unrelated to my multi-part fic Bokura no Secret, so if you have read BnS erase it completely from your mind before reading. This is for Esther (because I hate you! XD)

Title: A Matter of Choice; Fic type: one-shot ( a long one); Fandom: Ya-Ya-yah; Paring: Shoon-?; Genre: Romance-Angst-Humour (yeah, all that in one LOL) ... read the fic

On another note, I uploaded Sunday's show for those of you who can't use clubbox nor MU:
(YSI links - will expire in 7 days) .001 .002 .003

If you can use MU, please download from the links on the treasure box, thanks. ^__^

I also uploaded the Itoshi no Play Girl performance, can't remember who asked for it, but you'll find it in the treasure box as well. ;-)

I finished uploading the super HQ Gourmet Special of 2006.10.09. =)
[each part is 250MB each - total 2GB]:
.001 .002 .003 .004 .005 .006 .007 .008 .009

I'll upload a smaller version of that to YSI tomorrow if I can. Other uploading requests I'll fulfill as soon as possible: reuploading HQ episode 2005.11.13, 2003.04.20 Thailand, and the Daite Señorita performance.

SUPPORT YA-YA-YAH

As you all know, JE announced recently that there will be a debut next Spring, but not who will debut. The fact that Kitty hasn't dissolved when it was created as a supposedly temporary group, plus the airing of the new shows You-tachi (with Hikaru and the other 3 Kitty members) and Hyakushiki (with Yabu and other juniors), has got many of us worried that the announced debut might mean the end of the Ya-Ya-yah show and of Ya-Ya-yah as a group.

Fiona, the webmistress of the Chinese site Happy Town, has started a campaign among the Chinese fans to support Ya-Ya-yah, and her friend Feather, who has been so kind as to translate the plan outline into English, has asked me to try and involve Western fans in their efforts.

The idea is to send a weekly postcard to The Shounen Club to show our support to Ya-Ya-yah. As a heading write:
"ステージで輝いてるYa-Ya-yah”("Ya-ya-yah shines on the stage").
Below you can write a short message of support, in polite English or Japanese. It could be for instance "Please let Ya-Ya-yah debut next Spring".

The postcard should be addressed to:
c/o "The Shounen Club", Nihon NHK denshidai, 2-2-1, Jinnan, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo-to, 150-8001 JAPAN
〒150-8001 日本 東京都 渋谷区 神南 日本NHK電視台 2-2-1 -BS「ザ少年倶楽部」係

I think it might be useful to write it both in Western writing and Japanese.

P.S.: Please take the time to
read Feather's translation of the plan outline for more details.
P.P.S: Please spread the word. =)

about me & downloads

I've finally found some time to type a little profile for those of you who might be curious to know more about me. Click here or on the navigation bar where it says "about Irea".

On another note, I've uploaded more parts of the super HQ Gourmet Special of 2006.10.09 - only 2 more and we'll be finished. =)

[each part is 250MB each - total 2GB]:
.001 .002 .003 .004 .005 .006 .007 .008 .009 (will update this as I finish uploading the other parts)

I've also reuploaded, as I promised, the Ya3 show from 2006.10.08, the one which had audio problems (YouSendIt links - will expire in 7 days) .001 .002 .003

I love Sayaendô too. It's a really catchy song, ne? =) I'm not too fond of the white outfit with the faux fur, but I guess it's funny. XD And well, I think it's understandable that they look tired and strained. What with the Ya3 show, their performances in SC... and then Hikaru and Yabu took part in the musical One! with Takki, plus they both take part in two different shows now (YouTachi and Hyakushiki), plus Hikaru performs with Kitty as well in SC. @___@

M-ichelle
You can download SC through bittorrent at
JPopsuki; through Megaupload at Himitsu or Kichikawaii's LJ, or through Clubbox (there are many, like the Baka no Sekai clubbox).

Kami
Yeah, pity there's no pic of Taiyô with those leather boots. I've heard you talk about it so much that I want to see him with them! LOL Did they look like those he wore in that issue of Myojo in which they wore costumes (ie. Yabu - jungle explorer, Shoon - racing pilot, Taiyô - pirate, Hikaru... er... beach-goer? XD)

Ace-chan
Well, it's no wonder Shoon looks tired -these guys work so hard... and they have to keep up with their studies too, plus Shoon mentioned in a magazine that he has sleeping troubles, poor thing. Er... I don't know much about Joey Tee other than he does rap dance - never heard him sing a thing.

Nicole, Starry, Kami, and Nyaoko
Glad you liked the first scene of the one-shot. I'm close to finishing it, so I'll post it soon. =)

Alei and M-ichelle
Yes, it seems there was a problem with that Ya3show I uploaded. I'll reupload it as soon as possible. =)

Mei
Yes, Shoon is so adorable when he's around kids. I think he's got the makings of a father.

Esther
It made me happy to find a comment from you. =) The new stage has given me hopes too that they'll be the ones to debut. ^___^ And about Hasshi smiling when he's performing... if I were any of them I'd have a hard time not laughing my ass off when performing. XD Sometimes the dance moves are so silly and all those fangirls squealing with their fist in the air! LOL

Yui
Yes, I agree that after Ya-Ya-yah and Kitty Kisumai are the ones with a bigger chance of debuting, but why does everybody love Senga? I think I'm one of the few people who like Miyata best. XD And OMG, yes, I did notice that thing Shoon did with his hand when Hikaru sang the "kuchibiru" line. Somebody said in the Absolute Baka forums that's something Jin used to do in some performances. But yes, that was totally hjdrsgtxdy. *__*
when i knew this i was screaming my house down early in the morning 6am. XD
My excitement is going up as the days pass. I can't wait to watch it!! XD And I'm nervous as well too, 'cause I'm so hoping he was the genki!Shoon he can be, the enthusiastic Shoon he was in Tokyo Friend Park. He's not a camwhore and it seems to me he's not the type that smiles and acts cute for the cameras to get more attention from the jimushô.

Chic_flick
Glad you like the layout! ^___^ I'm so excited about Shoon's SC. I'll make a Taiyô layout when he gets to produce an episode too (hopefully soon! =))

Bews
Hi, Bews! Thanks for visiting the site and pleased to meet you! ^___^ Yabu is my second favourite in Ya3 after Shoon. My real name is Cristina, but Irea is the nickname I use on the Net. You're from Thailand? That's great! =) It seems Ya-Ya-yah have a lot of fans in your country, ne? I'm from Spain. ^__^ I'll visit your site, thanks for the link.

Allyson
It seems you and me are the only ones who dislike Yabu's new hairstyle and colour. O__o And YES! I thought the same thing too, that it might be another debut sign! ^___^ Regarding my proposal... okay, take as much time as you need to think about it. =)

Kami
Yabu's new hair style doesn't really look bad to you? It looks awful to me, and not just because of the colour. It's a little wavy as well, and reminds me of one of the Kisumai guys. @__@ Blond Hikaru... I can't imagine him blond, but he needs a better hairdo - and urgently. It's a relief to know that Shoon was wearing a wig in WSS because, honestly, dying such beautiful hair would be a crime against mankind. >__<

I dont mind his hair litlle bit browner than before, but isn't the haircut liiiitle bit strange.., no different than before. But if Yabu is ok with this, I'm pretty cool about it.
Yeah, the colour is weird on him, but it's the fact that it's wavy that I don't like at all. And well, probably Johnnys don't have much say on their haircuts and hairdos. Most likely it's on their contract, like Dan Radcliffe can't get a sun tan while playing Harry Potter.

Marci
But Tackey's play is over now, isn't it? I want to think it's a coming debut sign as Allyson said in a comment she left. Well, for some reason I can imagine Taiyô with a lighter hair colour. Actually I think his hair is a little lighter than Shoon's.
