video clip of the original Ya3

This is what happens when you wait too long to do something: people "steal" your ideas and "exclusives". XD
·
When I was browsing through my favourite JE/Ya3 sites this morning, which include Ya3 Genshiro, my friend Kami-chan's blog, I wanted to pull at my hair. In her latest entry she posts a clip which (I'm not sure if she's fully realized it because the quality is not too good) is quite a relic. It's one of the very first performances of Ya-Ya-yah... when they were the original Ya-Ya-yah, the Ya-Ya-yah made up of 7 members, the ones that gave the group it's name: Yabu Kôta, Akama Naoya, Yamashita Shoon, Ayukawa Taiyô, Yoshida Yûki, Andô Yasuhiro, and Hoshino Masaki. (credits for the pic below go to the Korean Ya3 site MoonlightBoy.com.

[LOST IMAGE, SORRY]

Well, all of them appear on that clip that Kami-chan found on YouTube and posted on her blog. I had read on Wikipedia's article about Ya-Ya-yah having appeared on a show called Hippare Night (which I assume means "Hit Parade Night" ^^ - isn't Japanglish fun? XD)
.
However, I had never heard of it, so I skipped that bit of information when I made the info section for this blogsite. Some time later though, I found at MoonlightBoy.com that clip Kami has posted, and after watching it I felt as if I had found the Holy Grail. LOL I was like "OMG, it's them! All of them! O___O".
·
Ever since that day I'd been planning on making an entry about it, but I wanted to get a non-watermarked clip, and if possible a better quality clip before doing so... However Kami has beaten me to it! XD
·
Anyway, I've uploaded the MoonlightBoy.com clip to my Castpost account because it's slightly better quality, and if you want to download it... here you go: Sendspace - Megaupload (4 MB). [from left to right: orange jumper - Yoshida; light blue jumper - Hoshino; yellow jumper - Akama; dark blue jumper - Shoon; green jumper - Taiyô; red jumper - Yabu; violet jumper - Andô]

PS to Kami: Yes, the clip is from 2002. Actually the webmistress of Moonlightboy.com has dated it as 2002.03.09. Any idea of how to find the Hippare Night show of that date?

If I've fully realized it?! Erm...*cough* .... well, of course I have! Right after you told me...

Seriously, I knew it was a very old clip, probably one of their first TV appearances ever. But as you said, the quality of that Youtube clip isn't that good, so I didn't really recognize Yoshida or Ando, or even Hoshino! All I saw was Yabu, Akama, Taiyo, Shoon and a couple of other Juniors. And even though I had seen that clip before I had never realized the significance of it. Some are lucky and don't even know it, I guess (now, where have I heard that before?!?)

Anyway, thanks for the download link. As for downloading the whole show, I'm sure it can be found on some clubbox. Somewhere. I'll keep my eyes open.

it's okay Irea, Kamichan said it herself, "Some are lucky and don't even know it" lol and if you didn't mentioned that it was the original 7, I too wouldn't realize it. Holy grail indeed ^^
