rambling on colours

Have you already watched the latest Ya-Ya-yah show (2007.02.25)? Making them wear kitty costumes to try and catch a mechanic mouse was funny, but what I really found funny was that they all seemed to enjoy wearing those costumes (even Shoon!) and how Yabu gave his all in the game as if it were a very serious competition. XD In the live stage Taiyô and Shoon were missing. Perhaps they were recording solos for their debut album or perhaps it's just wishful thinking. ^^ Anyway, Yabu performed Arashi no Carnival with big sunglasses that made you wonder if it was supposed to be cool or to make you laugh. XD I liked it, though. He looked sexy and funny at the same time. How can that be? XD
·
Then he sang Ikujinashi with Hikaru, and I noticed they're using the Ya-Ya-yah colours: red, blue, and white. JJE, who were backdancing for Yabu wore blue, the miscellaneous juniors backdancing for Hikaru wore red, and Yabu and Hikaru themselves wore white. Moreover, if you look close you'll see the stripes of their jackets' cuffs are blue, red, and white as well. LOL I wonder if there's a meaning to those colours. Red is for leadership, which is Yabu's colour, and blue can be interpreted I guess as co-leadership as it's a primary colour as well and it's Hikaru's colour.

At first I thought Taiyô's colour was yellow, which confused me, because it's the third primary colour and that have been utterly unfair to Shoon, whose colour (green) is the result of mixing blue and yellow, but then I realized it's orange (red+yellow), so it makes sense. Also, it's interesting that JE used secondary colours resulting from each of the primary colours Hikaru and Yabu have. I mean, in Shoon's case it's green, which is blue(Hikaru)+yellow, and in Taiyô's case it's red(Yabu)+yellow. They could have given Shoon or Taiyô purple instead, which is red+blue, but the green and orange is a clever thing. ^^

What about white? Hm... No idea. The U.K. flag has red, blue, and white too... could it be another Beatles connection? XD

Anyway, I uploaded to Mediafire the high-quality live stage Fiona uploaded to her clubbox because it has a bigger screen-size and better quality than the one included in the full version file. [Right-click on the caps below to see the screen-size and quality] You'll find the links in the videos section. =)

In case you haven't watched it and want to do it while you download, I uploaded the clip to Dailymotion as well. =) Enjoy.

And to finish this entry... more of the clippings scans YUANTIM sent to me. ^____^ This time they are from the 2004.04 issue of Duet. I adore the Shoon+Taiyô photoshoot in this one. They look so cute! ^^B Also, the haircut Shoon had back then is my favourite of all the haircuts he's had. =)

Cute scans! Yabu was (or is) such a cute little brat ;)

By the way, I didn't get an e-mail saying you made a post. Do you have any idea why?
