updates and uploads

MediaFire has made some improvements in their services, and now it allows you to organize your files into folders, and these folders have an URL. That's so neat! ^_^v I'm getting rid of my old download page. This will help me save time. =)
·
So as you can see I've replaced the menu buttons with a bunch of colourful ones, some of which will take you to my shared MediaFire folders.
·
Anyway, speaking of that... I've reuploaded some files which links had expired: 2005.01.30 onigokko returns, and 2005.01.16 1stconcert - click here, plus 3 old Ya3 commercials).
·
I've also updated my Never Stop the Music site with clips and mp3 rips from SC 2007.02.11, and a clip and mp3 rip of the Doki-doki medley from SC 2005. 04.03, courtesy of Kamichan.
·
And speaking of that medley... the same songs were sung by Ya-Ya-yah and NEWS on the Ya3 show back in 2004.06.27 under the name "Gakkô medley" (school medley), which is more appropriate, really, seeing they're wearing school uniforms and all. ^^ Anyway, I've also posted a HQ clip of that livestage and it's mp3 rip at Mitsukai's site Singin' for You. =] It's one of my favourite medleys. They seemed to have lots of fun performing it and the songs are really funny. ^__^ Click on the screencaps below to see the actual screensize and quality.

July Myojo and Popolo

The July issue of Myojo has a lot to read, and the Popolo one is great: the pics are just awesome and the article in itself has four check lists of the things the guys want in a girl. *runs off to go through Shoon's check list ^^*
·
2007.07 Myojo scans [scanned by ZANSANHANE]
2007.07 Popolo scans [scanned by ZANSANHANE]
·
PS: I'll try and translate Shoon's check list if I have the time.
·
PS2: I know I've changed the header too soon since the last time, but the Popolo group pic is so amazing that I couldn't resist.

problems with MediaFire

All free file hosting services suck in one way or another. MediaFire seemed like a dream come true when it first came up, but of late they've been having problems. One that is particularly annoying both to uploaders and downloaders is this: you click on the link and get an error message that says: "No servers are currently available with the requested data on them. Please retry your request in a moment".
·
Well, this has happened to a few of my files, and it keeps on happening. It's annoying as hell. I tried deleting the files and reuploading, but the problem is still there. This problem disappears after a few days, but it can be five, a week... Please, do tell me if you get this message when you click on one of the files I've uploaded. I'll reupload to Megaupload. I know it doesn't work for everyone, but it's the only thing I can do, unless you wait till the link works again.
·
A reader called Tankiang Ferrer sent me an e-mail telling me that the links for Tokyo Friend Park 1 .003 and .004 were not working. Well, they work now. Sorry, I didn't reply any sooner. ^^ I've been very busy.
·
The MC corner link works now too. ^^ And I've reuploaded to MegaUpload 2006.12.10 [Ya3] [LS] [widescreen].vob.002 and to Sendspace too, in case you tried to download that livestage from Mitsukai's site Singin' for You, because Sue told us that link was not working. I'll post it there too.
·
PS: I replied all the comments on the BBS. ^__^v

haunted houses

The other day Yuki and I were joking on the BBS about how great it would be if we could have an onigokko episode on a haunted house, like that Ya3 episode in 2004, in which they went to a haunted house. Well, sometimes life has funny coincidences. A couple of days ago a fan nicknamed Mutism posted a HQ version of that Ya3 episode at the LJH forums. =]
·
We all have a crappy .asf version, so I was really happy to get this. It's subbed in Chinese by the subbing team of a Chinese Tegoshi forum called 手研社 (I think), so credits go to them and to Mutism, who uploaded it to her Gogobox (the Taiwanese version of Clubbox, which is just as annoying XD) and has kindly granted me permission to share it with you all. =) Also it's nice because the Chinese subs are not on top of the Japanese ones, so yeah, get rid of the crappy .asf. ;)

You can find the download links at the videos section, and here are a few screencaps in case you want to know what the actual screensize and quality is like. [click on the thumbnails - pics open in a new window]

MC corner & 07.05.12 LS

I just noticed that the link for the MC corner is temporarily unavailable -MediaFire sucks-, so I've reuploaded it to YouSendIt. Please do leave me a note on the BBS if you find a link that is not working. So... SC 2007.05.13 MC corner [28 MB] (YouSendIt link - expires in 7 days)
·
Also, Fiona has uploaded to her clubbox a HQ, widescreen version of last weekend's livestage. You can watch it and download it and its mp3 at Mitsukai's site, Singin' for You. =] Click on the thumbnail below to see the actual screensize and quality.

SC randomness

There are a few things I wanted to comment on last weekend's Shônen Club. Like... did you notice Taiyô did some acrobatics during the performance of Primavera - Shakunetsu no megami? He did! I'm kind of surprised nobody's mentioned it. It was a cartwheel, not a backflip, but still it's got a lot of merit being as tall as he is. =] And before that he also did this so very Hikaru-ish gesture of opening and closing his jacket while singing. XD That was funny.
·
Also... did you notice how nervous they were -Yabu and Shoon in particular during the MC corner, before they went on stage to perform the new song? Yabu was very serious, and wrang his hands slightly, and Shoon breathed deeply and lowered his hands to his stomach as if he were having cramps. Stage nerves at this rate, guys? ;) That shows how humble they are. =]
·
I made a little clip with these and others bits that I liked from the show:
+bit 1 - Taiyô mimicking Hikaru's stage gestures and doing a wheelcart (at the very end)
+bit 2 - nerves before going on stage
+bit 3 - White Goat and Black Goat hand in hand LOL
+bit 4 - Daijiro (Question) messing Akun's (Question) hair XDDDD
+bit 5 - a close-up of Yodogawa Yoshihiro (Question's drummer), because he's teh cute =p
+bit 6 - Yabu's excitement is infectious (that smile of his is so amazing!)
·
[you can download this clip (26MB) to see these details better if you want]
·
·
And since I've just mentioned the MC corner... It would be wonderful if someone translated that. I'm kind of curious to know what they're saying because I only grasped part of what Shoon said about their school taking the students to Hokkaido for a week during which they stay in a different hotel every day -wow O_O- and how they rolled up the futon every morning quickly to go to the next one or something like that. I also liked how for once Taiyô was given a chance to speak, even if it was just to explain that they were going to play instruments. Anyway... in case you didn't download this SC... here's the full MC corner:
·
·
And then of course there was the Junior League. I think it was highly unfair that Yabu's team won again. True that Kawai's mimicry (monomane) was very funny, but he was the only one in his team that actually did something. Okay, the others did a very good imitation of fangirls when he did the Matsumoto Jun monomane XD , but in Hikaru's team everybody had a little part and they did great. Unfair! XP
·
·
And the "Takki project" thing was such a nice surprise. I have no idea what this project is about, but it was great to see all the juniors relaxed, some of them wearing their own clothes on top or underneath their stage outfits, and I spotted Reon!! X333 I was beginning to think he had disappeared.
·
Wait, I took a screencap of that, in case you didn't see him:
·
·
And if you didn't download the whole SC or just feel like rewatching that part now...
·
·
This segment of the show was quite funny too. As I just said I didn't understand much of what Takki said about the project he's going to do with the juniors, just that it's going to be something big. However, I loved the silly, random questions Tottsu and Kitayama asked Takki to tease him, the first one about Takki having dyed his hair darker, and the second about whether the tank top he was wearing was or not the one Senga had given him as a present.
·
Senga gave Takki a tank top? Hmmm... maybe that's why he had a solo part in the tabi medley on this SC? XDDDD
·
But this part made me worry a little about Shoon too. He seemed kind of melancholic, or pensive perhaps. What do you think? Then again maybe I just take too much notice of his moods and expressions.
·
At first, when Takki entered the room he was serious while everybody else looked excited... (Shoon is on the top right, wearing a leather jacket)
·
·
...and then came a sad smile and a melancholic look. I wonder if perhaps he was remembering the time when they were filming Satomi Hakkenden. ;__;
·

·
Do I worry too much? Yeah, probably. ^^U But I was happy that he was sitting close to his Yabucchi. ^^B
·
Oh, well, at least I spotted a couple or three Shoon uchiwas and signs among the public. =] By the way... sometimes I wonder if the real use for an uchiwa is to hide the person holding it. XD Look at this woman (bottom right), hiding her face behind a Shoon uchiwa. LOL Perhaps she doesn't want her husband or work colleagues to know she goes to watch a show with teenage boys dancing and singing on stage? XDDDD
·
·
And to finish this post on the randomest note ever... DailyMotion seems to love Shoon as much as I do. XD Seriously. When you upload a clip it takes a random screencap to identify the video, and most of the times I upload a clip the screencap has Shoon in it! O_O Look: (these are from 3 clips I uploaded today)
·
this one is from the Vanilla - Burn it Up performance...
...this is from Primavera - shakunetsu no megami
...and this one is from the MC corner
·
Weird, isn't it? XD
·
If you want you can download the clips from this entry at the videos section. Oh, and I also updated Never Stop the Music with the performances and mp3 rips from this SC. =]
·
PS: Some of you have asked me to reupload some old shows from the videos section. I'll do so as soon as I can, I promise. ^^
·
PS2: I answered all the comments on the BBS. =] *gives herself a cookie*

SC 07.05.13 Ima susumô

They cheated a little: they didn't play their instruments live. XD Okay, apart from that the song is pretty good. Shoon and his bass=^^B Pity Hikaru didn't play the flute. =p
·

MS 2004.07.09

That is probably one of the best Music Station performances EVER. It's a medley of JE's hits with Ya-Ya-yah and JJExpress [Macchan-superstar is on this clip! =D] with ABC and other juniors as backdancers. =)
·
Some screencaps here to catch your attention. If you right-click on the screencaps you can download them full size]

· Enjoy the video! : )

2007.05.05 livestage

Fiona has uploaded a high-quality, wide-screen version of last Saturday's livestage, in which Ya-Ya-yah performed a special medley to celebrate Kodomo no hi, Kids' Day. =] Yabu sang Yuuki 100%, Hikaru Oh! Enka, Taiyô and Shoon Sayaendo, and in the end the four of them, together with Yûto and Yamada, sang Hoshi wo mezashite. Taiyô and Shoon's part was particularly cute because they had pirate props and the backdancers wore pirate costumes.
·
·
You can watch the whole livestage and download the video and its mp3 rip at Mitsukai's site Singin' for You. =]
·
Oh, and in case you want to know what's the actual size and quality of the video, click on this thumbnail to see the full-size screencap:

rip your magazines! 8D

Well, I probably wouldn't want to rip a JE magazine if I bought one, but clippings make for better scans because they don't blur at the edges. ;) A fan nicknamed Hikaru, from the Chinese forums Ya-Ya-yah Kazoku, has posted non-watermarked scans of the May issue of Duet, and since they are scans of clippings, they are better than the scans I uploaded previously. [left - formerly uploaded scan, right - scan by Hikaru] Actually, even the colour quality is better. ^^
·

·
So if you don't like watermarks nor scans with blurred edges, come this way:

SC clips & 2004.07 Potato

From a Ya-Ya-yah fan's point of view (or from mine, at least) last weekend's SC was rather boring. Even the O-tegami itadakimasu is getting boring. ^^UUU There was very little Ya-Ya-yah in fact, with the exception of Hikaru's solo, Gentles, which was brilliant. Well, it was brilliant, but I found rather disturbing the fact that they had very young juniors posing "sexily" in the background. @_@ Honestly, there's Kisumai and ABC, and there's JJE too, and they're sexy enough and not so young. ^^
·
And speaking of JJE... Asaka's absence... (or disappearance rather, as we'll probably see no more of him) ...it's like re-living what happened to Hoshino and Akama. We don't know if Asaka has left JE because he wanted to, or because JE was no longer interested in him, but... *sigh* ...it's so... sad. It's sad that he has been in JE for so many years and yet there's no "official" goodbye for him, no "fare thee well". Wouldn't it have been nice to have him in a MC corner saying he's leaving to focus on his studies (even if it's not true) and have Koyama and Nakamaru tell him "we'll always remember you; take care and good luck" or something along those lines?
·
Why is everything so annoyingly secretive in JE? I liked Asaka, and I think it's mean that he has left this way, and now I have a hunch that the same is going to happen with Fukasawa. For some reason they made him stay in the background when his group was introduced at the opening of the show. Very suspicious; fishy. This is exactly the same thing JE did with Akama and Hoshino. First they appeared less and less, sang less and less... gradually they disappeared and one day we heard no more of them. ;___;
·
Anyway, to finish this entry on a happier note, I've uploaded Ya3 clips and mp3 rips from that SC to Never Stop the Music, and also that I've uploaded more of the scans Yuantim sent to me (thanks as always ^^BBB), this time from 2004.07 Potato magazine scans. =]
·
Shoon's haircut back then made him look totally like a puppet ^^B , and Akama and Hoshino were still part of Ya-Ya-yah at that time. =]

Sorry everyone for having disappeared like this for many days. I was busy with work and stuff. m(_ _)m
·
I don't like Blogger's comments system, so from now on comments will be disabled, BUT you can still communicate with me and the other people who visit this blog through my BBS. ^___^ I'll reply to you there as well.
·
So, yeah, go check it out; you'll like it. It's the same type of BBS Fiona has on her site, Happy Town and it's very easy to use and neater than Blogger's comment system. ;)
·
Anyway, speaking of comments... I'm going to reply to your comments now.
·
·
·
Alei: Thanks for visiting and commenting as always. And yes, Taiyô is looking better and better in the latest magazines. =]
·
Geri: It made me so happy that you left me a message while you were in Japan. ^o^ Yeah, I think Yabu looks much better with the fringe, and he needs to have a haircut soon too. ^^ "she's always more important to him than anything else and he'll do anything for her" -->> "Yabu is more important to me than this job and he's not going on stage again." *SQUEE* BnS love ;D You can't imagine how flattered I feel that you still remember BnS. ^^BBB And yes, Shoon is so wonderfully romantic. *BIG SIGH* I want a boyfriend like Shoon. *pouts*
·
Chookie: Thanks for leaving a comment and for being such a faithful visitor. ^__^ I have to agree: Yabu and Taiyô looked great in the last photoshoots.
·
Rin: Shookawa is my second favourite pairing (I only object to Yabukaru actually XD), but... I don't know, Shoon looks so tiny now beside Taiyô that it's just awkward when they have pics together. ^^ *scratches her head*
·
Maya: I too love how Shoon and Yabu seem to be closer later and more comfortable around each other. ;) And I definitely think they have something going on. XDDDD Thanks for visiting and commenting. ^^BBB
·
Liching: I come from Spain. =] Oh, so you're from Malaysia. I thought you were from China. No, I'm afraid I don't speak Chinese. I'm a member of LJH, but to understand what people say there and so on I use an automatic translation program. I was very excited about last month's magazines too, with so much "Yamabu" photos. ^^BBB And yes, they do have a peaceful atmosphere as you say. =] I really would like to know why is it that many Chinese Ya3 fans don't like Shoon. How can that be? ;__; How to describe the YabuxShoon pairing? Hmm... I think the best thing about is the great tension between them. They are awkward with each other, and hesitant, and... I don't know, they're just really cute and sweet together. ^.^*
·
Glitx: Thanks as always for visiting and commenting, and you're welcome for the scans. =]
·
Yui: I too love seeing them sing Start! again. I thought they'd never sing it again because it's so different from their newest songs as you say, like Itoshii no Playgirl. But yeah, I guess if they have sung Sekai ga hitsu ni naru made and 100% Yuuki... why not Start! too? ;) Yeah, it was funny how polite Shoon was towards the other team when pumping the ballon, ha, ha! And OMG, yes, when he covered his ears! He's such a scaredy cat! =p So cute! Shoon is so handsome he looks good from the back, the front, the side... from any angle, really. XDD I so can't wait to see them playing instruments on SC!! *spazzes*
·
Ame_no_okami: Hmmm... sword fighting... yeah, that's what it looks like. =) Thanks for visiting and commenting. ^^BBB
·
K-chan: I know what part you mean in the 2007.04.15 Haru·Natsu·Aki·Fuyu performance about Yabu marching cutely when he sang his solo line! That was so adorable! ^^BBB I can't understand why is it that some junior fans can't stand Yabu. <=( Looks like somebody already translated the whole Popolo article at the Ya3 LJ comm =]
·
Isshinu: I too think it's hard to imagine Yabu married at 23, ha, ha. Also, as he said in the article he'll have to find the girl of his dreams pretty quickly! XDDD This reminds me of tales like Prince Charming looking for his Cinderella. Good luck, Yabu! ;)
·
神ちゃん: And both Yabu and Shoon want to have kids. ^^B // What, you mean like, together? Awww, that's sweet. Well, from a biological point of view it's impossible, of course, but they'd be beautiful kids. Hang on, here in Spain they could get legally married and perhaps even adopt kids. XD;;;
·
Kins: Yeah, isn't it great that they're appearing in Popolo now too? That makes a total of 6 magazines counting Kindai too. ^^B Thanks a mil for your comments as always.
·
Kyuri: I totally agree with you on the marriage age thing. I think 23 nowadays is a bit young to get married. Also, guys usually marry later than girls, so yeah, 23 for Yabu would be really young. ^^ I think Shoon's idea -marrying when he's in his 30s- is much more sensible.
·
Yuki: Why is Shoon so romantic? We need more guys like him! We do! The world needs more guys like Shoon!! About Taiyô... I can totally imagine a girl giving him a teddy bear for Valentine's Day or something like that. ;) And I understand what you say about Yabu. He grows on you, doesn't he? ^__^ Glad you like the new layout! I love the onigokko episodes too. I hope one day they'll play onigokko in a haunted house. XDDD
·
Yay, finished with the comments. ^_^v Okay, on to other things... I haven't had time to post here about it any sooner, so, please go and check the latest updates on Mitsukai's site Singin' for You. ;) There are some very nice HQ live stages - old and recent. Little jewels really... especially the 2005.05.17 performance of Two of us. It's probably the only livestage in which there are no screaming fangirls as Yungboy pointed out to me, so the mp3 is a clean one. XD
·
What else...? Oh, yes, I posted a new entry to 101 Reasons to Like Shoon with the title "His backflips are the real deal". Want to know why? Then go check it! ;)
·
By the way, that entry has a link to yet another blogsite I've made... this time to host all the MS performances I have. It's similar to the Never Stop the Music one and I've called it Be Ambitious. I'm running out of names. XDDD *note to self: must add link later on the nav bar* It will be updated... whenever I can. ^^U ...but I'll announce the updates here. ;)
·
And even more things today... 2003 scans, yay! I've upload to the album the 2003.05 issue of yojo, courtesy of Yuantim (thanks once again!), which has a lot about Taiyô, and pics of him as a baby: (so cute!!)
·
·
Aaaand... I've also uploaded a report about the concert with Takki, KAT-TUN, K.K.Kitty, ABC, and Ya-Ya-yah (minus Taiyô) in Thailand back in 2003 that was included in the May issue of that year of Potato. It has some great pics, like this one: (Yui, you'll be happy to see this... Shoon is sitting next to Ueda ;)) This issue was scanned by someone called Dunhaung from the Chinese forums KTROOM.
·
·
Okay... album links for these...
2003.05 Myojo scans [courtesy of YUAMTIM]
·
Phew, I think that's all for today. ^^ If you want to make a comment or ask any questions, please come to the BBS. ;)
