Miyata needs more love

... Or at least one big hug. ;__;
·
Miyata Toshiya is not a member of Ya-Ya-yah, and he's not the handsomest junior —which is actually contradicted by the photo on the left— but I'm fond of him. For those who don't know, he's a member of Kis-My-Ft2. ^^
·
I guess it sounds weird to say you're fond of someone you don't even know, but yeah, I'm fond of him.
·
Perhaps it's just because he seems to be friends with Shoon —and I'm partial to anybody Shoon likes. XD;;;
·
Perhaps it's because of that awkward, big smile of his that holds nothing back.
·
Perhaps it's because he's so quiet, and seems such a nice, unassuming guy.
·
Or perhaps it's because he's SO shy.
·
Shoon is quite shy, and Reon is even more so, probably just because he's still very young, but Miyata is like really, really shy.
·
Just take the clip below as an example.
·
He was fidgetting all the time during this MC bit, even though he didn't have to do any of the talking. Nikaido was so cute asking the public to cheer more loudly (motto, motto, motto!), by the way. XD Yûta, who's sitting on the other end, seems to be as quiet as Toshiya, but he's very calm and composed by comparison.
·
·
Watching yesterday's Shônen Club I wanted to kill Nakamaru for not remembering his name. Miyata is one of the juniors that get less exposure, and when a person is as shy as he is sometimes people hardly notice them, but I want to think Nakamaru's mind just went blank for no reason at that moment, as it sometimes happens to any of us. However, it's so damn unfortunate that he had to forget precisely Miyata's name. >__<;;;
·
A self-confident person would make nothing of that, but I can guess how bad Toshiya felt when it happened.
·
·
At least him, Yûta, Nikaido, and Senga got to sing a bit on their own during the SC theme medley, so even though this is a Ya-Ya-yah fanblog, here goes this clip as a tribute to you, Miyacchi, . ;-) And also to Nikaido and Yûta. Senga gets some more attention, but we don't get to hear/see that much of Nikaido and Yûta.

Ya-Ya-yah didn't have a performance on this SC, but they sang two songs in the theme medley, which sort of made up for it. The first was V6's Jasmin, which is the kind of song that, as my friend Yungboy would say, makes you realize how great they sound as a group.
·
The second one was an up-beat, rockish song called Overdrive. They should give them more songs like this. It's obvious they enjoy them, especially Shoon —that's how I want to see you, Shoon-kun, jumping up and down and playing air guitar and smiling. o^__^o By the way... isn't it a bit sad that Ryota, who used to MC with Jimmy Mackey some tome ago, is now just playing guitar as he did during this song? O_o I've also left Zukkoke otoko michi in this clip because Ya-Ya-yah sang with the rest of the juniors.

·
Another nice thing about this SC was the Takki project segment, in which Taiyô seemingly chose "akogarete" (admiration/respect) as a subject, because he talks about his most respected senpai, Nagase Tomoya from the band TOKIO. By the way, he had a photo taken with him some time ago, as you can see from the pic below. ;-) [click on it to see it full size - opens in a new window] (credits to Moonlightboy.com - Duet 2005.12)
