pets

I hate Gogobox. T___T It took like a million years to download last Saturday's show. Ah, but it was worth the while. =] So many cute and funny moments! I've made a little clip with some highlights from the show:
1) Shoon mentioned once that he'd like to have a namakemon for a pet. No, that's not a kind of pokemon. LOL The English word is "sloth", one of those mammals that live in the trees and move veeeery slowly. There are different species of sloths, and I hope it's not the one that appears in the clip that Shoon would like to have, because it's the ugliest and creepiest one! XD Still you can hear him saying "meccha kawaii" (how cute!), so perhaps he wouldn't mind having one of that particular species? O__o Eek!
2) The puppy Yabu fell in love with. ^.^* A Yorkshire terrier. He didn't seem very enthusiastic about the other puppies they saw (and some were adorable), but for some reason he was all awww with that one. =]
3) A very cute little girl with an equally cute puppy.
4) Taiyô being cute with a cute puppy - he's just a big kid. LOL
5) A piglet that sort of climbed to the palm of Shoon's hand and sniffed his leather bracelet curiously. Don't know why, but I'm happy he's wearing that bracelet again. It's so... Shoon. I just love watching Shoon with kids and animals. He's so sweet and patient with them!
6) Ferrets! I didn't know they were such calm pets! And apparently they don't mind being held and swung from side to side. O___O That bit was so funny! And again don't miss Shoon looking tenderly at his ferret. ;-) Gotta love him!
·
On a side note... I'll never understand why petshops are allowed to sell exotic animals. It's just wrong and cruel. =(

2007.07.21 livestage

Don't get too excited. ^^ It's not a new livestage, but a mix of old livestages to celebrate Kinki Kids 10th anniversary. It's nice, however, because we get to see in high-quality a bit of two 2003 livestages in which Hikaru was 12, Yabu 13, and Shoon 14. =] Kawaii! ^.^* Credit goes to our wonderful Fiona, who uploaded it to her clubbox. ^___^
·
The livestages that make up this special livestage are: Garasu no Shônen, performed by Yabu, Hikaru, Shoon, and ABC; Ame no Melody, performed by Hikaru, Natsu Moyô, performed by Yabu and Hikaru (Shoon and Taiyô backdanced in this), and Brand New Song, performed by Yabu and Hikaru again.
·
In the first one Hikaru wasn't an "official" member of Ya-Ya-yah yet -as you can see his not wearing the ugly, eye-hurting orange outfits. XD Probably he still wasn't in the second one either. I kinda like the golden outfits they wore in the third one. They are pretty cool when they don't zip up the jacket. And the fourth one... XDDDDD OMG, I couldn't resist taking a screencap of poor Yabu with that horrible outfit (I think it was Theo-chan who mentioned they belonged to NEWS before) and the even more horrible hairdo. XD;;;
·

·
You can watch, and download this livestage and mp3 rip at Mitsukai's site Singin' For You. =] (Welcome back, Mitsukai!! ^___^ *hugs*)

updates

Several updates today. =] First of all, I've posted another HQ livestage courtesy of my wonderful friend Yungboy (thanks as always!) at Mitsukai's site, Singin' For You.
·
It's the livestage from the 2004.02.22 show, in which Hikaru sang I believe in Myself and HARU · NATSU · AKI · FUYU with Hoshino, Akama, Taiyô, and Shoon backdancing.
·
If I remember correctly Yabu was in Osaka doing the Dreamboy musical.
·
I don't like those two songs very much, but Shoon is so happy on this performance! And he had that cute puppet haircut too. =] I wish his stylist would trim his hair a little. It's getting too long. ^^
·
Anyway, you can watch the whole clip and download it here, but I couldn't resist cutting a short clip of Shoon from the livestage. He's just too adorable for words. ^__^ It doesn't have sound and it's slowmotion because in case you haven't noticed I love watching clips in slowmotion -you notice so many more details!
·
·
By the way, this livestage clip's frame size is 640x480. Click on either of the thumbnails below to see these screencaps in full size. Isn't the second one beautiful? ^.^*
·

·
Okay, moving on. I've also updated my Shounen Club clips site, Never Stop the Music, with 3 clips.
·
Credit goes again to my friend Yungboy, and these clips are 2002.10.20 Ya-Ya-yah, 2003.09.07 Yuuki 100%, and 2006.10.01 Venus.
·
The 2002 one is a really cute performance with the five members Ya-Ya-yah, so if you don't have it, that's a must-have. ;-)
·
And last but not least, I've uploaded to my flickr album the September issues of Myojo and Popolo. Credits go to Zansanhane, who was the one who scanned them. =]

johnnys and baby animals

Shoon feeding a calf is just the tenderest thing to behold ^.^ , poor Yabu under the attack of the hungry lambs made me laugh, Taiyô surprised me, being so calm, and Massu... you coward! XDDDD [DOWNLOAD THIS CLIP] Oh, and... don't you find goats a bit creepy? It's the eyes, I guess. XD;;;
·
·
On another note... I've uploaded scans of the August issue of Kindai to the album. Credits go to Mimini, who scanned them. =] Click here.

2005 HQ LS + SC clip

One of these days I'll have to make a glossary of the acronyms I use... because I use far too many. ^^UUU Anyway, I've posted at Mitsukai's site, Singin' for You, another high-quality livestage from 2005, courtesy of my good friend Yungboy. ^___^ It's from the 2005.02.06 show, in which J.J.Express (Asaka was still there - I miss him! T__T) performed Yell!, and Ya-Ya-yah performed Start.
·
There are two things I like about this livestage. The first one is that, being a HQ clip, you can recognize most of the juniors doing the backdancing -I was like "oh, that's Nika! Oh, and that's Senga!" when I was watching it. XD The second one is that Ya-Ya-yah are all wearing casual clothes. It would be nice if they let them wear casual clothes now and then on stage, like Hikaru usually does when he performs Gentles.
·
Speaking of which... I've also uploaded Yabu and Hikaru's performance from the 2nd Osaka SC (2007.07.08). Yabu sang Arashi no Carnival, though he was a bit too serious. Why? Because he was missing Shoon of course! XD *gets bricked* Hikaru, as I said, sang Gentles, and he was just brilliant. I'm a big fan of his singing, and everytime he sings that song I like it even more. ^___^ As always, you'll find it at Never Stop the Music. =]

August SC "preview"

Been busy working on a translation I had to hand yesterday, but at last I'm free... at least for a few days, that is. ^^ Being a freenlacer is like this: some very hectic periods... and little breaks. I have several e-mails to answer and must work on updates and so on, but... anyway, I don't think you're interested in all this. XD;;;
·
I felt so happy and excited when I read the news this morning. ^_____^ So Takki is mean to Shoon and Taiyô and won't let them be on his Enbujô thingie, right? *grumbles* Who cares? =p They'll have the next 2 Shônen Club episodes to themselves! *laughs like a maniac* Okay, okay, not JUST to themselves, but no other Tokyo juniors will be there, not even Yabu or Hikaru, ho, ho, ho. Man, I feel cruel for not missing Yabu and Hikaru, but they were the Tokyo representatives in the last 2 SCs in Osaka. *makes note to self to cut Ya3 performances from the second one*
·
So yeah, this Summer is being better for Taiyô and Shoon than the last one. Last Summer they made a couple of commercials and took part in the Daibôken concerts, but this Summer they've been on Hyakushiki and now they'll be on their own in the 2 August SC episodes... and most importantly... will be singing a solo each and then a song together!! *jumps up and down*
·
This is so wonderful. ^____________^ I was really curious to know what those songs will be like because I didn't remember them, so I did a little YouTube search for them.
·
Shoon will sing Slave of Love, which was performed by Tsubasa on SC a while ago. I SO want to see Shoon performing this song!! H__H Personally I think his rendition of Get Down is better (and sexier) than Tsubasa's, so I can't wait to see him performing this one. Ganbatte ne, Mayo!! o^o^o
·
·
Taiyô will perform a song called Feel It, that was performed by Question? some time ago as well on SC. Don't like this song at all, but I'm positive Taiyô will do much better than this. Ganbatte, Taiyô-kun! o^o^o
·
·
And together they'll sing V6's song Cosmic Rescue, one of those silly but catchy JE songs. I can almost imagine them singing and dancing this and I'm sure it will be great.
·
·
*runs off to answer e-mails and comments and stuff*

HQ is always best

Because HQ clips are always better, I've posted at Singin' For You a better quality version of last Saturday's Ya3 livestage (Ima susumou) Fiona has uploaded to her clubbox. =]

July 05, 2007

07.06.30 LS: Ima susumou!

AT LAST a real Ya3 livestage! XD And Ima susumou as well. ;-) It was great to see them perform this song again.
·
And it was a bit different from the time they performed it on Shounen Club - well, just in the "woh-woh-wohs", but yeah. XD There was a little Yamabu moment even! ^^B Taiyô is gotten so much more natural, and I love how much Hikaru gets into his bad boy rocker role when he goes on stage. LOL Yabu is starting to scare me with being so handsome, and Shoon... no words are needed for Shoon, really. ;-) Oh, and you MUST watch Tuesday's Hyakushiki, because Taiyô and Shoon were amazingly cute and funny. They were so relaxed. =] I want the Ya3 show to be like that. They even made a report on their own. No silly comedians, no NEWS member in the role of MC... just the two of them. It should show the Ya-Ya-yah show producers that they don't need babysitters anymore. =p They're perfectly able of pulling out the show by themselves.
·
But I'm digressing... ^^U Anyway, here are some screencaps (click on them to see the actual frame size and quality) of the livestage, credits of which go to the wonderful Haruka. =] If you want to download the clip and maybe the mp3 too, head to Singin' For You. =D Enjoy!

SC clips and a HQ livestage

I've updated Never Stop the Music with the two perfomances from Sunday's SC in which Hikaru and Yabu appeared (Itoshi no Playgirl and Osaka Romanesque), and also two wonderful old SC Ya3 performances courtesy of my good friend Yungboy (thanks again! ^^BBB).
·
The first one is from 2003.02.16, in which the 5 members Ya-Ya-yah sang Hoshikuzu no beeru and Maybe Your Love with KAT-TUN. The other one is a medley from 2003.07.16, in which Yabu, Taiyô, and Shoon sing Stompin', Just Wanna Lovin' You, and Stand by Me with Jimmy Mackey.
·
But those are not the only clips I have to thank Yungboy for today. She also uploaded a HQ 2005 livestage, 2005.07.24, of which we all had a crappy .asf file. =] It's the livestage in which Ya-Ya-yah performed Summary with Koyama, Massu, and Tegoshi (who wore for the occassion some red dragqueen outfits LOL - our boys' "choice" was their cowboys outfits - I like the black and red ones, but the white and red ones are just so ugly!). Anyway, you can download that livestage at Mitsukai's site Singin' for You, as always. ^__^ Mitsukai sent me an e-mail to tell me she won't be able to update the main page of the site for a while because she and her family are moving. I'll keep on posting more HQ livestages and the latest livestages at her site, though, so I'll give you notice of those updates here and at the Ya3 LJ comm. ;-)
·
Okay, so... some screencaps of those clips I just mentioned (click on them to see the actual framesize and quality). The first one is from the 2003.02.16 SC performance. Shoon had such a dreamy expression when they were sitting on those stairs. Every time I watch it I can't pay any attention to Yabu's singing. XD Well, can I be blamed? Shoon has such beautiful features...
·
The second one is from the 2003.07.16 performance. Don't you just love when they gather together in Stand by Me? It's so cute! ^o^.
·
And the third one is from the Summary performance - Yabu in that absurd Scottish cowboy outfit. LOL
·

·
PS: Miyako requested the Fantastipo clip (2007.04.15 SC), so in case anyone wants it, here you go. The whole medley it belongs to can be downloaded at Never Stop the Music.

yesterday's SC

Stupid MediaFire is under maintenance, so even though I'd been uploading clips and mp3s you won't be able to download them. Oh, well, at least you can watch the clips I uploaded to Dailymotion. =]
·
I was so surprised to see that Osaka's NHK Hall looks exactly the same as Tokyo's NHK Hall! O___O Were it not for the Kansai juniors -most of whom I do not know at all, I'll admit-, you might have thought they were in Tokyo. ^^ Anyway, I missed all the Tokyo juniors, but it was really enjoyable to watch. Kanjani8 are always so funny, and the performances were really good. However, the juniors backdancing for Yabu and Hikaru when they performed Itoshi no Playgirl must have been nervous... or they didn't have enough time to practise the coreography, because they were lousy (sorry, guys). ^^UUU It was so weird to see Yabu and Hikaru performing that song on their own. I was expecting Taiyô and Shoon to appear on the stage at any minute, even though even though I knew it wasn't going to happen. Oh, well, I guess the fact that they'll be together on the next 2 Hyakushiki episodes will make up for their absence on this SC and the next one. ^^
·
This first clip is from the opening of the show. Kanjani8's Subaru teased poor Hikaru to no end and even pinched his butt. XD;;;
·
·
This one is the Itoshi no Playgirl performance.
·
·
And this last one is from the closing of the show, in which Yabu and Hikaru sang Osaka Romanesque with the Kansai juniors and Kanjani8.
·
·
PS: I'll update later or tomorrow to post the MF links. ^^
